Celgene International Headquarters in Boudry, Switzerland is seeking to further expand the clinical operations capability.
Having enjoyed tremendous success commercially and from a research perspective their pipeline is extremely healthy. We are currently seeking to recruit an Associate Director, Clinical Operations with the experience, vision, drive and determination to add value to these research programmes and enhance Celgene’s product development success.
The position calls for a team player with well developed clinical operations, project management and line management experience, strong cultural awareness, confidence and ability to manage internal and external resources.
Critical to success of this role, therefore, will be the ability of the selected candidate to further enhance the reputation of the European business and the value of Europe’s contribution, through both internal and external relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee study management personnel to ensure timely delivery of high quality project deliverables
Interact with other departments as well as cross-functional teams (i.e. Clinical Development Teams, Project Teams) to ensure timely delivery of high quality project deliverables
Therapeutic / Study Input / Guidance:
Budget & Resource Management:
Responsible for overall performance management of personnel
Provide guidance and support to direct reports
The Associate Director Clinical Operations should have a strong academic background with significant global clinical trial management experience in addition to line management experience
The following are essential:
Degree and advanced degree in Life Sciences
At least 10 years of experience in clinical operations roles, including at least 3 years of multi-national experience
Expertise within the Oncology therapeutic area
