The Solution Sales Executive – Implementation will play a key role in the new business that is promoting and selling the Azyxxi platform in EMEA. It is a hybrid role interfacing with the key stakeholders within the target organisations, helping to plan the processes for successful project implementation; this will include timescale development and development of partners
He/she will engage in pre-sales advising and agreeing with the decision makers on the implementation process for the Azyxxi application, providing the follow-thorough to the management of the implementation of Azyxxi post sale.
The emphasis will be on Partners to lead the implementation with an objective to structure the service provided by the partner. For the first implementations, the incubation sites, Microsoft may take the lead, with the objective of training the partner as part of process. The role of the Implementation Manager will span the needs of pre-sales, post sales (interface to the implementation team and partner) and partner management. For the first year the focus will be on pre-sales engagements with customers and partner development.
Essential Job Functions
- Present, discuss and sell the implementation process and resourcing for the Azyxxi application to the senior decision making groups within a hospital or hospital group.
- Connect with the customer project resource to plan and management the implementation
- Co-ordinate the worldwide HSG resources and any partner resource to meet the agreed implementation schedule.
- Present, discuss and sell the value of the Azyxxi technical architecture to the senior decision making groups within a hospital or hospital group.
- Connect with the clinical and technical standards bodies within a country to ensure that the Azyxxi solution adheres to their clinical data standards, security, privacy and interoperability requirements.
- Working with the EMEA and WW Health Solutions Group provide the technical insight from a particular sales opportunity through to the overall market analysis.
- The role will evolve to working with partner organisations, supporting their sales activity
Results
- Commitment from the customer senior executives to the implementation process and value of the Azyxxi platform.
- Support from the partners, achieving customers needs and providing a commercially viable business for the partner.
- Establish Azyxxi wins in a minimum of three countries in the first year
- Recognised contribution to the WW HSG implementation team
The Person
Essential Person Profile
- The role requires an organised and focussed software project implementation manager whose abilities span the needs of pre-sales, post sales and partner management.
- He/she will ideally have an overall understanding of the healthcare marketplace and particularly the adoption of technology for clinical applications within a hospital environment with the capability to talk technically with regards to the systems employed and the standards adhered to both in the UK and, ideally internationally.
Professional Experience
- Experienced application implementation project manager with 5+ years in the healthcare applications market, responsible for enterprise applications
Specific technical and functional knowledge
- Technical and functional understanding clinical IT systems and standards (likely to include SNOMED, HL7 etc), internationally IHTSDO etc.
- Strong project management, resource management and project leadership skills
- Expertise should include broad knowledge of SQL Server, and .NET technologies.
- Experience of managing customer and third party organisations in a complex application implementation environment.
Competencies
- Proven track record of implementing (project management and team leadership) clinical applications in a hospital environment. Experience of the critical process, dependencies and pitfalls within the implementation life-cycle.
- Leadership within a implementation environment, negotiating and facilitating actions with customers and partners, managing customer expectations and managing conflict.
- Knowledge around medical interfacing, understanding of the core clinical applications within a hospital, the interface standards that they use and the development/database models they are built on. An understanding of the system dependencies
- Ability to communicate at all levels, giving clear and concise positioning the project plan and tasks. Awareness of the complex sales environment and their role in the process.
- A structured approach to project management with evidence of PrinceII (or similar) methodology would be advantageous. Certainly need to be self motivating and highly organised
- Ability to explain complex information to team members. Conveys thoughts clearly and accurately. Listens carefully and asks questions when necessary to ensure understanding.
